Abstract
If the addition of Cu was more than 0. 2%, hydrogen induced cracking can be effectively suppressed. This is because addition of Cu enhances the formation of a tight, adherent surface film. This film is protective, decreasing the corrosion rate greatly. This film is impermeable.
