Abstract

This paper presents a characterization of the archival science training processes conducted at Escuela Interamericana de Bibliotecología at University of Antioquia. It starts reviewing the theoretical referents that support the overall development of archival science and training in particular in the geographical context of Latin America and Colombia. This characterization makes it possible to visualize the maturity of the program and the training-challenges.
