Nonlinearizations of spectral problems of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the real-valued modified Korteweg-de Vries equation

Abstract

A procedure of nonlinearization of spectral problem that allows to impose reality conditions or restriction conditions on potentials is presented. As applications, integrable decompositions of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the real-valued modified Korteweg-de Vries equation are obtained. © 2007 American Institute of Physics.
