Abstract

1,2-Dihydroxymintlactone (1). a new monoterpene possessing nematicidal activity was isolated as a minor metabolite from the culture filtrate of the Basidiomycete Cheimonophyllum candidissimum, a fungus that previously has yielded nematicidal sesquiterpenes. The structure was determined by spectroscopic methods. © 1995, Walter de Gruyter. All rights reserved.
