Analisis Masalah Penerapan Pendidikan Karakter di SMAN 1 Ciampel dengan Teknik Identifikasi Fishbone

Abstract

This research raises the issue of character education implementation at SMAN 1 Ciampel, Karawang Regency, West Java. The aim of this research is to identify the root causes of the problem of character education implementation at SMAN 1 Ciampel. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research was conducted from January to July 2023 at SMAN 1 Ciampel, Karawang Regency, West Java. The subjects of this study were students in grades X-XII. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentary studies. The problem identification technique uses the Fishbone technique. Data analysis techniques are carried out through reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the main root cause of the suboptimal implementation of character education at this school is the managerial team's inadequate communication and coordination in planning, programs, objectives, targets, and clear regulations for character education implementation. Therefore, effective teamwork is needed among the managerial team to ensure the optimal implementation of character education at this school.
