Abstract
We examine in this paper the relationship between employee ownership and Ceo's entrenchment strategies. Adopting a systemic approach, our analysis includes various control mechanisms able to influence the nature or the intensity of the studied relationship. Our research is based on a quantitative methodology combined with a qualitative approach. Issued from prior literature analysis, our hypotheses are tested for a sample of about 167 French quoted companies and results are discussed. © De Boeck Université.
