Abstract
The current study aims at sporting the light on the mixed research theories in the scientific research concerning the field of social science by considering it as a tool to reduce the gap between the qualitative and the quantitative research methods.Thus, by giving a definition to each and its tools. In addition to getting acquainted with the mixed research theories by addressing as a modal (one case mixed research methods, Convergent designs, explanatory sequence designs, exploratory sequential designs, and embedded designs), therefore, explaining some tools which make it a good one to reduce the gap between the qualitative and the quantitative research methods in the social scientific research
