Abstract
From the interdisciplinary universe that involves legal incentives forsustainable urban construction and architectural principles that aretraditionally used in construction, this research aims to go thenormative framework of eleven municipalities (Americana/SP, Campos doJordao/SP, Tiete/SP, Araraquara/SP, Barretos/SP, Ipatinga/MG,Guarulhos/SP, Sao Vicente/SP, Goiania/GO, Camboriu/SP e Seropedica/RJ)to identify how these incentives are being regulated and what parameterssustainability are being contemplated. The research has qualitative andquantitative approach and the procedure for data collection was thedocumentary research. After such surveys it was found that somesustainability parameters are more present in the legal incentives, suchas natural lighting, green roof, rainwater harvesting and solar heatingsystem. Finally, it was concluded on the importance of legal incentivesfor more sustainable construction parameters are entered inarchitectural projects that meet the needs of the present generationwithout compromising the ability of future generations to meet their ownneeds.
