Abstract

The public sphere in societies of cognitive capitalism, far from being devoid of emotions, is overwhelmed by a kind of affection committed to the imperative of cooperation. The new capitalism commands us to exercise our emotional skills and to build a personality in terms of adaptive coaching so that was a kind of unsaturated kingdom of myself. This proposal implies a questioning of emotion. More strictly the expressivist, experiential and moralizing twist that has conquered and saturated public space and forms of political intervention, also opposition, and I call it emotional twist.
