Abstract

It has been found that the Fe2P (C 22) structure previously proposed must be revised. The true symmetry is hexagonal, rather than trigonal. The phases Ni6Si2B, Mn2P, and Ni2P are isotypic with Fe2P, but Co2P possesses a different - orthorhombic - structure. Some structurally related phases are also discussed.
