Abstract

This research explores the benefits of using audiovisual media in learning English vocabulary at the primary school level. Conducted in the context of a community service activity involving 14 learners, the research shows that this approach can significantly improve student engagement and vocabulary recall. The multisensory stimulation of audio, video and images creates a dynamic and fun learning environment. The advantages involve flexibility of access, variety of teaching approaches, and more detailed evaluation of student progress. It was found that audiovisual media provides a more interactive learning experience, allowing students to associate words with images and sounds. It also helps students in the use of vocabulary in everyday communicative contexts. Therefore, the integration of audiovisual media is expected to continue to be developed to create an innovative and relevant learning environment, reinforcing the positive potential in English language education at the primary level.
