Abstract

We use the homotopy perturbation method to find the travelling wave solutions of nonlinear Burgers and new coupled modified Korteweg-de Vries equations. The results reveal that the homotopy perturbation method is very effective, convenient and quite accurate to systems of nonlinear equations. It is predicted that the homotopy perturbation method can find wide application in engineering and physics. © 2008 Verlag der Zeitschrift für Naturforschung.
