Abstract
Training has been conducted on the utilization of google sites as learning media to improve the competence of prospective teacher in the physics tadris study program at the faculty of tarbiyah and keguruan, Mataram State Islamic University. This training uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. In general, training activities are carried out in 4 stages, namely preparation, socialization, implementation and evaluation and reflection. The evaluation carried out includes 3 criteria, namely the participants' understanding of the utilization of google site-based learning media, the competence of the speakers and the facilities provided during the training. Service activities regarding the utilization of google sites as learning media went well. This is shown by the activity evaluation questionnaire. There are three criteria evaluated, namely the understanding of the participants, the competence of the resource person and the facilities provided during the training. The results of the questionnaire analysis show that each aspect of the three criteria is in the very good category. However, the training time aspect showed results that fell into the good category. This is because it takes time to familiarize the participants in making learning media based on Google site. Therefore, continuous training is needed so that participants can get good results when creating google site-based learning media. The implication of this training is that prospective teacher students in the physics study program are able to apply google sites as an alternative learning media to increase student motivation and learning outcomes when teaching later.
