Abstract
After the correction of the erroneous sound pressure levels, four more objectionable points remain in the work of Pilger and Ceranna regarding the background noise, the model calculations, the definition of measurement disturbance and the increase of infrasonic signal content due to wind turbines. Taking these points into account, the recommendation of a precautionary minimum distance of 15 km from wind turbines to ISM stations does not appear to be justified.
