Abstract
The control of constitutionality, understood as the set of mechanisms and procedures aimed at making the Constitution effective, is a problematic issue in Colombia, but at the same time exciting. Influenced by other constitutional models, contributing their own elements, we have built a complex constitutional control system. Establishing who are called to make the Constitution effective and determine if having so many guarantors in the Colombian constitutional control, constitutes an advantage or a disadvantage, are the purposes of the present investigation. The methodology used is the analytical descriptive. Which allowed to demonstrate that allowing many authorities to watch over the Constitution can generate insecurity, complexity and conflicts of competence.
