Abstract
Comments on the article by G. Wilkinson et al (see record 2000-00147-008), which presents the results of a study illustrating the development and validation of the Schizophrenia Quality of Life Scale. The author suggests that their new questionnaire tends to measure symptoms rather than quality of life. He sees no advantage in using this tool over existing tools, such as the Manchester Short Assessment of Quality of Life (S. Priebe et al, 1999).
