Abstract
The use of a CCTV camera inspection mole in surveying live gas pipelines prior to renovation or relining is described. Advantages in speed of carrying out the repairs and minimising disruption of the supply to customers are achieved. The firm supplying the camera specializes in producing cameras for particular situations such as the nuclear industry. (P.J.B.)
