Abstract

The forage quality and yield efficiency of triticale in bean-associated crops are affected by the proportion of seeds. The trial’s objective was to optimize the seed ratio of the triticale-bean association to improve the increase of leaf nitrogen (N) and biomass of triticale, optimizing competition indices. The research was conducted in small campaign 2019 (dry season), lot 2, EEAM-FAG- UNCP, El Mantaro-Jauja. The experimental structure consisted of proportions (%) of seeds Triticale:Bean with the arrangement, 100:00, 100:25, 100:50, 100:75, 100:100, 00:100. The experimental design was of complete blocks at random with three repetitions. In the associated triticale:bean crops, the 100:75 ratio produced high leaf a nitrogen concentration (2.4%) and higher biomass (9.18 t ha–1) in triticale. The maximum ratio 100:100 was associated with higher total production of forage (40.38 t ha–1) and rhizobial nodules per plant (116.47) of beans. The competition indices indicate that the inclusion of the bean in the association, favors the relative total yield (LERtotal), does not show aggressive behavior between crops (A = 0) and that, the triticale and bean share their competitive capacity (CR>1) according to the seed proportions.
