Abstract

Computer-aided socket design (CASD) is a technique for the design of prosthetic sockets using the advantageous features of computer graphics and calculation. This paper describes a computer-aided technique used to design sockets for patients with trans-tibial lower limb amputations. © 1993, SAGE Publications. All rights reserved.
