Abstract
The genus Isotomiella is recorded for the first time on Sumatra island. Nine species have been collected, of which seven are new to science and described in this paper: Isotomiella annae n. sp., I. barisan n. sp., I. deforestai n. sp., I. dubia n. sp., I. thiollayi n. sp., I. cribrata n. sp. and I. michonae n. sp. The remaining two species, recently described from South America, are probably pantropical forms: I. symetrimucronata Najt and Thibaud 1987 (= prussianae Oliveira and Deharveng 1990, n. syn.) and I. nummulifer Deharveng and Oliveira 1990. © 1994 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
