Abstract
Education has a central role in shaping the future of a society. Teachers as the main agents in the education system have a great responsibility in guiding and developing the potential of students. In this context, a deep understanding of educational psychology is an urgent need for educators. Educational psychology provides a relevant framework for understanding student's cognitive, emotional and social development, which in turn helps teachers in designing appropriate learning experiences. Along with the development of science and research in the field of educational psychology, the role of the teacher is no longer limited to the delivery of subject matter, but also involves a deep understanding of the individual needs of students. This suggests that teacher's success depends not only on their academic knowledge, but also on a broad psychological understanding.
