Abstract

This paper reports a study on Calliphoridae associated to human corpus in Rio Grande do Norte State, Brazil. Collections of Calliphoridae were made in cadavers in different stages of decomposition taken to the Instituto Técnico e Científico de Polícia/Natal, from different regions of the state. The following species were collected: Chrysomya megacephala (Fabr.), Chrysomya albiceps (Wied.), Cochliomyia macellaria (Fabr.), Lucilia eximia (Wied.), Lucilia cuprina (Wied.) and Lucilia sp.
