Abstract

Abstract: A brief review is presented on comprehensive studies of synthetic and natural borates with nontrivial temperature-dependent magnetic properties. Particular attention is paid to identifying correlations between crystal structure, chemical composition, thermal behavior, and magnetic phase transitions.
