Abstract
This research is motivated by the lack of use of E-LKPD in elementary schools in online learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for electronic LKPD containing characters in elementary schools. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were principals and teachers at elementary schools in Tasikmalaya City. The data collection instrument used an interview guide and also a documentation study. Data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman data analysis. The steps used in conducting data analysis were data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study cover three aspects, consisting of; (1) problem analysis covering curriculum, school policies and also the practical application of ElectronicLearn Worksheets (E-LKPD) in elementary schools, (2) analysis of the suitability of the context of character education in elementary schools, and (3) analysis of problems and needs include improvements, ideas and ideas as solutions to problems. The conclusions of this study indicate that the LKPD in schools has not met the requirements for making the correct LKPD. Therefore, schools really need the right LKPD for learning, in accordance with the 2013 curriculum and also the adjustment of online learning in BDR. Thus, this research is expected to be used as a reference in creating or developing HOTS-based E-LKPD containing Characters that are in accordance with the correct LKPD criteria which also contain characters in it, so that character education is not only taught in habituation but can also be integrated in learning.
