Abstract
(Figure Presented) Unknown terrain: Mg(GaH4)2· 4 OEt2 (see molecular structure; blue Ga, green Mg, red O, gray C, white H) can be regarded as a parent compound for the essentially unexplored group of alkaline-earth tetrahydridogallates. Reaction of Mg-(GaH 4)2·4 OEt2 with tert-butyl alcohol leads to {Mg(OtBu)[GaH2(OtBu)2]}2. © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
