Development of a Learning Management System (LMS) Based on Moodle on the Problem-Based Learning Model (Hydrocarbon Basic Material)

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) produce a Moodle-based LMS product that is feasible in improving learning outcomes using the Problem-Based Learning model for hydrocarbon material for SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung (2) find out the practical and effective Moodle-based Media Learning Management System (LMS) on the Problem Model Based Learning on hydrocarbon material. This type of research is R & D or research and development using the ADDIE model, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of this research were students in class XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of this research are as follows. (1) LMS products developed with the Moodle application (2) Moodle-based LMS products have met the criteria and been declared suitable as learning media based on media expert validation with a score of 3.33 with the criteria "Very Valid", based on material expert validation with an average score of 3 .72 with the criterion "Very valid", and based on teacher and student user responses with a percentage of 92.5% and 85% with the criterion "Very Practical". (3) The learning outcomes of class XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung improved after using Moodle-based LMS. The effectiveness of the product for Moodle-based LMS is proven by increasing learning outcomes which is known from the percentage of learning outcomes, namely 85.29%.
