Abstract
Malaria remains a significant public health challenge in Tanzania, where vector control efforts are critical for reducing transmission. Climate change introduces complex challenges to these efforts, influencing the ecological and epidemiological dynamics of malaria transmission. This review examines the impacts of climate variables such as temperature, rainfall, and humidity on malaria vector populations and control strategies in Tanzania. The implications of these climatic changes for vector biology, the effectiveness of existing control measures, and challenges are discussed. This review emphasizes the need for adaptive vector management strategies that incorporate climate data into malaria forecasting and intervention planning to address the evolving landscape of malaria transmission. Understanding these dynamics is essential for improving public health outcomes and ensuring the sustainability of malaria control initiatives in the context of climate variability.
