Abstract

When finite-size-sealing analysis is applied to Monte-Carlo calculations of the electrical conductivity of simple-cubic, bond- and size-percolation lattices, a correlation-length critical exponent is obtained in good agreement with current values, but for the conductivity exponent, t equals 2. 06 plus or minus 0. 16 is found significantly higher than the value currently cited. This new value appears, however, in essential agreement with a recently proposed theoretical conjecture.
