Abstract

Removed females during the incubation or nestling period. Of the 4 females removed during the incubation period, replacement females buried the previous eggs. Of the 4 females removed during the nestling period, there were 2 replacements, one of which commited infanticide. THEREFORE, one infanticide of 8 removals
