Abstract

The less-polar (crude hexane extracts) and polar (crude methanolic extracts) constituents of 11 Mimoaceous plants, collected from Karachi (Pakistan), were screened against various bacteria and fungi and found to be active. Pithecellobium dulce demonstrated the greatest biological activity.
