Abstract
This article explores the use of walking and soundwalking as research practices and artistic performances, and presents the current work of the Soundwalking Interactions research-creation project. It includes a review of historic and contemporary discussions of walking and soundwalking, and an analysis of the various models of soundwalks used in acoustic ecology, urban design, and performing arts.
