Abstract

Are there differences between binucleate and bicellular pollen? It is a study about all development ovule to fruit in Magnolia virginiana. The megaspore mother cell by two successive divisions, produce 4 megaspores, of which the innermost is functional. The mature embryo sac is 8 nucleate type and fertilization probably occurs as usual.
