Abstract

The microwave transitions of O3 have been observed to the frequency of 320 GHz, and the spectrum recalculated to obtain new rotational constants for the molecule. The Stark effect has been measured for 6 transitions to yield an rms value of the dipole moment of 0.5324 ± 0.0024 debye. Linewidth measurements on 2 rotational transitions have resulted in a halfwidth at half power of 4.63 ± 0.24 MHz/Torr. © 1971.
