Abstract

Kualitas tidur yang buruk dapat mengakibatkan penurunan konsentrasi dan merusak kemampuan untuk melakukan kegiatan yang melibatkan daya ingat, belajar, pertimbangan logis, dan penghitungan matematis. Sleep hygiene adalah salah satu strategi mengatasi masalah gangguan waktu tidur, memastikan kondisi tubuh dalam keadaan bersih sebelum masuk waktu tidur akan dapat mengatasi insomnia. Tujuan Pemberian edukasi kesehatan ini diharapkan siswa mengetahui tentang Penerapan Sleep Hygiene untuk mengatasi gangguan tidur (Insomnia). Pengabmas dilakukan pada bulan 20 Februari 2019. Peserta diberikan informasi melalui ceramah dan diskusi serta menggunakan media leaflet. Pengabdian masyarakat di lakukan di SMA N 2 Sembawa dengan peserta adalah siswa/i kelas X yang berjumlah 32 peserta (1 kelas). Nilai rerata pre test peserta mendapatkan 45 point dan nilai rerata post test peserta mendapatkan 80 point. Terlihat dari hasil pre test dan post test bahwa apat disimpulkan siswa/i tersebut telah mengetahui dan memahami Sleep Hygiene dalam mengatasi gangguan tidur.   Poor sleep quality can result in decreased concentration and impair the ability to do activities that involve memory, learning, logical judgment, and mathematical calculation. Sleep hygiene is one of the strategies to overcome the problem of disruption of sleep, ensuring the condition of the body in a clean state before entering sleep will be able to overcome insomnia. The purpose of this health education provision is expected students to know about the Application of Sleep hygiene to overcome sleep disorders (Insomnia). Health education is conducted on February 20, 2019. Participants are given information through lectures and discussions and use leaflet media. Health education was carried out at SMA N 2 Sembawa with participants being class X students totaling 32 participants (1 class). The mean score of the pre-test participants got 45 points and the mean value of the post-test participants got 80 points. It can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test that it can be concluded that the students already know and understand sleep hygiene in overcoming sleep disorders.
