Abstract

This brief comment highlights (1) some important points in the Temple of Preah Vihear (Interpretation) judgment that are likely to have impact on the law and practice at the International Court of Justice and (2) some likely mistakes committed by the Siamese officials in earlier times in not giving sufficient attention to cartographic and legal expertise and by Cambodia's earlier lawyers in formulating its claims.
