Abstract

This paper aims on improve the dynamic performance of closed loop controlled shunt active filter with PI, SMC is connected to IEEE 30 bus system. It has been drawn that with none control mechanism, the output voltage cannot be controlled and it will provides a giant deviation in output voltage in terms of error signal and that will decline the output current, as a result steady state error will increase, which will reduce the performance. So, it is mandatory to maintain the output voltage and that can be achieved by a proper feedback control system. This Paper, demonstrates the comparison of time domain parameters and how the results improve in presence of controller circuit for the IEEE 30 bus system.
