Abstract

The Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT) is generally regarded as the key pillar of the world nuclear order Walker (A perpetual menace: nuclear weapons and international order, Routledge, London, 2012 [1]). With its 188 parties, it is the most universal arms control treaty in world history.
