Abstract

The article highlights the commitment of an Integration Organization that responds to the educational problems of the region, trying to promote educational social action as a challenge. The educational integration strategy is an initiative full of challenges and great opportunities focused on three components that are considered fundamental for the improvement of an educational system: Educational resources, the curriculum, and initial teacher training. From this perspective, political wills of the CAB member nations were established to reach consensus and build criteria that allow, at least in these countries, to dictate educational policies in an articulated manner between the aforementioned components to raise the quality of student learning, the efficient use of educational resources and having teachers with a solid teacher training.
