Abstract

In recent years significant advances have been made in the identification of new hyaladherins and in our knowledge of hyaluronan-protein interactions. Determination of the three-dimensional structures of different types of -hyaluronan-binding domains and their ligand complexes is clearly essential if we are to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the diverse biology of this important glycosaminoglycan.
