Setting out a vision for the United Nations statistical system

Abstract

In May 2020 the Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) of the UN system endorsed the Systemwide Road Map for Innovating United Nations Data and Statistics (hereafter the Roadmap) [1]. This was a defining moment for the Committee of the Chief Statisticians of the UN system (CCS-UN) as it brought political endorsement and support for the strategic modernization of the UN statistical system.
