Profil pasien dengan veruka vulgaris di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah pada periode 2021-2023

Abstract

Background: Verruca vulgaris is a benign proliferation of the skin and mucosa in the epidermis caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Verruca vulgaris can be found at any age. The aim of this study was to determine the profile of patients with verruca vulgaris at Prof Dr. I. G. N. G. Ngoerah General Hospital Denpasar. Methods: This research was conducted retrospectively on verruca vulgaris patients at the Skin and Venereology Polyclinic, Prof. Dr. I. G. N. G. Ngoerah General Hospital Denpasar, in 2021-2023. Data was obtained from patient medical records. Results: There were a total of 77 verruca vulgaris patients at the Skin and Venereology Polyclinic, Prof. Dr. IGNG Ngoerah General Hospital for a period of 3 years. The gender distribution of patients is almost the same between women and men, namely 49.35%  and 50.65%. The largest age group belongs to the 25-44 year age group, namely 35.06%, followed by the 15-24 year age group (29.87%) and 45-64 year age group (15.58%). The most common lesion locations were found on the hands (49.35%). The majority of patients were treated with the electrocautery method (74.03%). Conclusion: The largest age group is adults. The most common lesion locations are on the hands, while the most frequently chosen therapy is electrocautery.   Latar Belakang: Veruka vulgaris adalah proliferasi jinak pada kulit dan mukosa di bagian epidermis yang disebabkan oleh human papilloma virus (HPV). Veruka vulgaris dapat ditemukan pada semua usia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil pasien dengan veruka vulgaris di RSUP Prof dr. I. G. N. G. Ngoerah Denpasar. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan secara retrospektif pada pasien veruka vulgaris di Poliklinik Kulit dan Kelamin RSUP Prof dr. I. G. N. G. Ngoerah Denpasar tahun 2021- 2023, dilakukan pencatatan data dari rekam medis pasien. Hasil: Terdapat total 77 pasien veruka vulgaris di Poliklinik Kulit dan Kelamin RSUP Prof. Dr. IGNG Ngoerah selama kurun waktu 3 tahun. Distribusi jenis kelamin pasien hampir sama antara perempuan dan laki-laki, yaitu 49,35% dan 50,65%. Kelompok usia terbanyak dimiliki oleh kelompok usia 25-44 tahun yaitu 35.06%, diikuti oleh kelompok usia 15-24 tahun (29,87%), dan 45-64 tahun (15,58%). Lokasi lesi terbanyak didapatkan pada tangan (49,35%). Mayoritas pasien diterapi dengan metode elektrokauter (74,03%). Simpulan: Kelompok usia terbanyak adalah usia dewasa. Lokasi lesi terbanyak pada tangan, sedangkan terapi yang paling banyak dipilih adalah elektrokauter.
