Abstract

During the execution of the regression test arranging the test cases in a proper order/ prioritized order will helps for tester for early detection of the faults in the software. To achieve this goal many researchers has proposed and implemented many test case prioritizing techniques where as in the existing approaches the objectives of the test case was considered only with single objective either code coverage/faults coverage or less execution time. The proposed technique was considered the metrics like code coverage, execution time and fault detection rate with the optimization algorithm called shuffled frog leap algorithm (SFLA). The Proposed Algorithm was compared with the genetic algorithm and the results were shown in terms of the execution time and fault detection rate. The results has shown the effectiveness of the proposed system.
