Abstract

The article discusses the development of a computational model that will create a systematic examination of cross-language transfer to rehabilitation in bilingual aphasia. The model is an expanded version of DISLEX, a representation of lexical access in humans based on self-organizing maps. It describes the methods and input data applied to train the model and to stimulate treatment and clinical tests. It highlights the significance of the model in clinical research to treat bilingual patients.
