Caracterización de campos electromagnéticos de alta frecuencia en ambientes urbanos

Ambientes urbanos, campo electromagnético, estaciones base, telefonía celular. RESUMEN En este artículo se presentan los resultados de la caracterización del campo electromagnético producido por sistemas de comunicación inalámbricos, como estaciones base de telefonía celular y antenas de radio y TV, en ambientes urbanos. La caracterización se hizo en 110 sitios de la ciudad de Cali – Colombia durante tres campañas de medición. En general, los valores encontrados fueron inferiores al 5% del límite establecido por la Comisión Internacional para la Protección de las Radiaciones No Ionizantes ICNIRP (0.2 mW/cm 2) y adoptado por el gobierno colombiano. Sin embargo, en tres sitios los niveles fueron cercanos a dicho límite y en otros dos fueron superados. K E Y W O R D S Base stations, electromagnetic field, mobile telephone, urban environments. However, in three sites the measured values were close to this level and in other two sites the level was exceeded.
