Abstract
This article reviews the perspective and reactions of physical education students and young players when they are learning or training through Teaching Games for Understanding model (TGfU). With this review, we intend to understand how students´ thinking affects the cognitive, psychomotor, affective and social areas of learning. These contributions are used to support the idea of considering players as agents that help improving the TGfU model, so that it really gets to be a teaching approach centred on learners.
