Abstract

This paper describes the first prostatic biopsy on a human patient using a robotic and telerobotic system. This system was designed at the Politecnico di Milano, and the biopsy was performed on April 7, 1995, in the Hospital Policlinico in Milan, Italy. © 1995 Informa UK Ltd All rights reserved: reproduction in whole or part not permitted.
