Abstract

New Zealand earthquakes known to have had a large felt area or to have caused damage are listed chronologically. Brief descriptive notes, including epicentres and magnitudes when known, and maximum reported intensities are given for each earthquake. Over 170 shocks are listed. © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
