Abstract
Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) is a type of abuse that occurs between two people who are involved in a close relationship. Many times emotional abuse is the first sign followed by the others. This is a well-known phenomenon reported in psychology for abusive behaviour often leads to physical or sexual assaults. © Medwell Journals, 2011.
