Şizofreni Bozukluğunun Tarihi, Epidemiyolojisi, Etiyolojisi ve Tedavisi (The History, Epidemiology, Etiology and Treatment of Schizophrenia Disorder)

Abstract

Toplumdaki yayınlığının %0,4 ile %0,7 arasında olduğu bildirilen ve bireyde gerçeklik algısının kaybıyla ilerleyen şizofreni, sanrı, varsanı, dağınık konuşma, dağınık eylemler veya negatif belirtilerin görüldüğü ağır ruhsal bir bozukluktur. İnsanlık tarihinde ulaşılan kaynaklar ve aktarmalar, şizofreninin yüzyıllardır var olan bir bozukluk olduğunu göstermektedir. Çok eski dönemlerden 1800’lü yıllara kadar doğa üstü güçler üzerinden açıklanmaya çalışılmışsa dayapılan araştırmalarla bilimsel temelli birçok yaklaşım geliştirilmeye başlanmıştır. Ortaya çıkışındaki esas neden henüz kesin anlaşılamamış olsa da biyopsikososyal faktörlerin etkisiyle oluştuğu kanaati genel olarak kabul görmektedir. Araştırmalar bozukluğun oluşum süreçleri gibi bireylerdeki ilerleyişinin de birbirinden farklı olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu bilgilerse uzmanlarda tedavi süreçlerinde de farklı yaklaşım ve uygulamaları birlikte uygulayabilecekleri anlayışını doğurmuştur. Günümüzde şizofreninin birey bazlı yöntemlerle tedavi edilebilmesi ve bu bireylerin topluma kazandırılabilmelerine yönelik çalışmaların yapılması önem arz etmektedir. Bu makale çalışmasında da yukarıda kısa bir özeti aktarılan şizofreni bozukluğunun, tarihsel süreci, epidemiyolojisi, etiyolojisi ve tedavi yaklaşımları ele alınmıştır.Schizophrenia, which is reported to be between 0.4% and 0.7% in the society and progresses with the loss of the perception of reality in the individual, is a severe mental disorder in which delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, disorganized actions or negative symptoms are seen. The sources and transmissions reached in the history of humanity show that schizophrenia is a disorder that has existed for centuries. Although it has been tried to be explained through supernatural powers from ancient times to the 1800s, many scientific-based approaches have begun to be developed with the researches. Although the main reason for its emergence has not yet been clearly understood, it is generally accepted that it is caused by the effect of biopsychosocial factors. Researches have shown that the progression of the disorder in individuals is different from each other, as are the formation processes. This information has led to the understanding that specialists can apply different approaches and practices together in the treatment processes.Currently, it is important that schizophrenia can be treated with individual-based methods and that studies are carried out to ensure that these individuals can be brought into society. In this article study, the historical process, epidemiology, etiology and treatment approaches of schizophrenia disorder, a brief summary of which was mentioned above, have been compiled.
