Abstract

In this paper, we study the combined effect of concave and convex nonlinearities on the number of solutions for a semi-linear elliptic equation with sign-changing weight functions. With the help of the Nehari manifold, we prove that there are at least two solutions for the equation (Ea,b). Copyright © 2009 Rocky Mountain Mathematics Consortium.
